Burning Test
A simple burning test for quick evaluation of burn performance and residual ash — useful for accepting material for hookah applications.

All burning tests are performed using cube samples only. Please provide your cube images (step sequence) and, if available, the cube dimensions.
Procedure
- Use a single standardized cube sample (customer-provided size; typical weight ≈ 15 g).
- Place the cube on a metal crucible or heat-resistant stand on a stable surface.
- Ignite the cube with a standardized flame for 2 minutes, then allow it to burn freely until self-extinguished.
- Record burn time, residual mass (ash %), smoke level and odor; photograph the cube at key stages.
Conditions & Notes
- Sample shape: cube
- Size: as specified by order (provide dimensions with images)
- Sample sizes: 25, 26, 27 mm
- Typical expectation: steady flame, odourless, smokeless, ash < 2.5%
